Conan: Frost Giant's Daughter (A Summary)

Blood on the snow, snow on the blood, red rivers freezing in the white silence, and Conan’s still breathing, yeah, he’s the wolf that won’t die, the last growl in the dead battlefield. And she appears, no clothes, no shame, just the wind wearing her, laughing without a sound, eyes like knives, eyes like stars that don’t care if you burn.

She says come, and he goes, because men are wires pulled by invisible hands, chasing the ghost, the hunger, the promise of warmth in the ice. He stumbles after, the ground cracking under him, his sword heavy, his blood light, her feet leaving no mark, no mark, like she was never there, only a thought painted on the horizon.

And then the giants — her brothers, her monsters, her cold children of the sky — stepping out of the mist, swinging doom in their hands. But Conan, he’s the hammer, he’s the thunder that doesn’t stop, he cuts and roars and bleeds into the silence until the silence breaks.

And when it’s over, she’s gone, gone like smoke, gone like a whisper in a dream you can’t remember when you wake. Only a scrap left, a shred of her veil, soft as nothing, hard as proof, clutched in his fist. Was she real, was she a lie? Snow says nothing, blood says everything.
