My Most Influential Books #67: The Story of King Arthur and His Knights (1903) by Howard Pyle

I stumbled across this book at the library at Robert E. Lee High School. It was so cool and awesome, it turned me into a book thief. In fact I "permanently borrowed" several of Howard Pyle's books. For instance, I also "displaced" the following:

The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood (1883).
The Story of King Arthur and His Knights (1903).
The Story of the Champions of the Round Table (1905).
The Story of Sir Launcelot and His Companions (1907).

As good as the written parts were, the illustrations were even better. Great stuff! Very influential on me.

I mean look at that. What a legend!
