Breaking Bad Locations

On December 30-31, 2024 we took a trip to New Mexico. We had fun visiting many Breaking Bad filming locations.

Twisters is where the Los Pollos Hermanos scenes were filmed. I had a burrito there and it was good. It was the #4 breakfast burrito (the Albuquerque). Blaine and Izzy had other items, and while they said it was good, they weren’t blown away exactly. It was surreal to actually be there.

Mike’s humble home. We were snapping pics and the resident popped out and said hello to us. He was very nice. He said we could go closer but we politely declined. Didn’t want to be a bother. We told him we were from San Antonio and he said he loved Bill Miller’s. Nice guy. Tiny house.

Chuck’s house is in a quiet, very nice neighborhood. It was awesome to see!

Tuco’s hideout is a coffee shop (Java Joe’s). I got the bottomless mug. Which helped since I was unbelievably jet lagged!! But we had fun.

They painted over the Texas flag mural. Oh well.

Jane’s rental looks a bit different. But you can still imagine the tumultuous events that happened there.

We ate at the Dog House. I loved it. The other two liked it as well, but not as much as I did (I’m seeing a theme emerging). I loved the greasy no-frills snack-bar vibe. I enjoyed the cheese fries!

Here is Loyola’s which is Mike Ehrmentraut’s favorite breakfast location. When we got there it was closed. Great. So we ate at Weck’s. It was good! Service was fair.

Here is the HHM office building. The inside looks exactly like it does on the show! It looks awesome. The security guard eventually showed up and ran us off. But little did he know we snapped a lot of pics already!!

Here is Fring’s laundry. It was closed.

Here is Walter White’s house. The woman that lives here is notoriously awful. But we managed to avoid her. Look how she has all those traffic markers up. What a skeeze.

This is Saul’s office space in that strip center. Now it’s a restaurant or watering hole or whatever. Also they have completely messed up the front.

Skyler’s car wash. Looks the same. Almost expected to see Walt walking around there.

Vamanos Pest looks different. But this is it.

Jesse Pinkman’s house is a nice house in a nice neighborhood. The same neighborhood as Chuck. In fact you can actually see Chuck’s house from Pinkman’s front yard. Who knew?

Mike’s tollbooth is in the heart of nowhere. Cool to imagine his and Saul’s interaction right there!

Here is where Wendy plied her trade. It looks abandoned, or at least repurposed. I expected to see Hank Jesse, or Saul or Wendy.

We visited the Breaking Bad store. The man working there (owner) was very cool! He answered our questions and told us some trivia! He was very nice. This place is a must visit for every Breaking Bad fan. It also had a small museum attached with priceless props, collectibles, and artwork.

It was tremendous fun to visit all these sights and the museum, etc. for a Breaking Bad fan like myself it was super fun. The man at the museum said Gus lives in Albuquerque. And that Brian Cranston is in town filming something. Sadly we never saw either of them.

Here are some bonus locations. At the Albuquerque international Sunport.
